According to a new report from Lyst, they check thousands of online websites to bring you reports and data on reoccurring trends and products that people just can't get enough of. So far for 2019, one pair of runners has been highlighted by them as a clear favourite for women - and you'll definitely recognise if you don't already own a pair. They're not the cheapest but they've got a distinctive thick white sole and a black detail at the back and you can wear them with everything from jeans to midi dresses. They're by a designer called Alexander McQueen and they're available in Brown Thomas. Yep, we're on about the ladies runway platform sneakers. Retailing at €395, the price hasn't put people off purchasing them, becoming the most sought after trainers so far this year. And it seems like there's a pattern for people wanting designer runners this year. Gucci's Ace trainers also ranked high, as did Veja's V10 runners also seen on the feet of Meghan Markle. Others that also made the list were Adidas' Continental 80 trainers and Nike's Blazer Low runners. There's no denying that runners deserve the top spot when it comes to most comfortable footwear and even better is the fact that there are some super stylish options.
