Rosie Connolly’s Zara jacket is a pricey one but we’re very tempted to make the splurge

Looking for a winter coat?

Every year, I seem to have the same dilemma... will I make the splurge or will I opt for something cheaper? And every year, I regret my decision. I think it's because I forget just how much use I will actually get out of a good jacket, from winter parties to cold frosty mornings to glamming up an office outfit. A winter coat is actually such a necessity and one you'll get years out of if you buy one of good quality. And having seen this beaut on Rosie Connolly, I think I've found the one for me. The jacket, which is from Zara is pricey at €129 but, think of all the endless wears for this versatile, neutral piece.

Now, although it won't protect you from the rain, I can imagine this number at copious events, drinks with the girls and family Christmas reunions when a rain jacket just won't do. We love how Roise paired her jacket with leather pants and trainers giving it that casual look. Alternatively, the coat can be dressed with heels and a skirt for a night on the tiles. It's as versatile as you make it. And these heeled boots (also from Zara) are calling for a night out. Featuring a snakeskin pattern, these will be all the rage for A/W18. Adore!
