River Island is releasing a homeware collection, and OMG it’s lush

River Island has always been a favourite of ours.

It's right up to the minute with fashion trends, and was one of the first retailers to stock jeans for tall, regular and petite woman (which is why - coming in at 5'1" - I first fell in love with them). However, it is now stepping into homeware and we're already dreaming of what we want in our houses. Full of soft furnishing and decór accessories, the collection will be available to buy from September. The line is made up of three key trends that we're absolutely adoring - Baby Doll, Electric Opulence and New Nordic. Baby Doll is has splashes of bold colour, touches of leopard print (YAS) and some ombré thrown in to give it the ultimate kitsch, cheeky feel. Electric Opulence consists of deep teals, burnt red and pops of orange. With lots of quirky cushions, faux fur rugs and animal motifs this trend gives a sophisticated, luxurious feel with personality. And finally, the New Nordic line is made up of warm neutrals with sprinkles of metallic and geometric influence. Speaking about the new homewares line, Dayna Sofair, Head of Homeware Buying said: "The launch of our brand-new RI Home division heralds the beginning of an exciting chapter for us. Style doesn’t end at our clothes. "Where we eat, the fragrance we wear and way we decorate our homes says as much about us as our favourite pair of jeans. With this in mind, we wanted to give our customer the chance to bring some of that signature River Island style and personality out of the wardrobe and into their home." Homeware will be available in select stores and online from September 2018 with prices starting from €10 up to €370. Candles & home fragrance will be available in all stores and online with prices ranging from €6 to €43.
