River Island has the perfect swimsuit (and yes, we tested it out!)

It's beach season - and getting together your holiday attire can raise more than a few wardrobe pickles.

This is particularly true when it comes to swimwear; you want something on-trend, comfortable, and somewhat practical too (ya know, so you can actually swim in it). Which is why we wanted to share with you this FAB piece from River Island. Priced at €55, it certainly could pass for a designer number. We thought we'd try it out for size too - because what looks great on the hanger doesn't always work in RL. One of our colleagues at Her Towers, Tara, snapped up the gem recently and was singing the piece's praises afterwards. "I got it in a size 12 and it fit like a glove," she told us. "It doesn't make me look like I have four arses!" She added: "Genuinely quite happy though as a lot of the cut-out swimsuits are usually pretty hideous. "I'll let you know post holiday how I survive in it, but so far so good! I'm delighted." High praise indeed. The swimsuit has a lovely contrast embroidered trim along with a plunge neckline complete with cut-out detail. There are moulded cups and adjustable straps too. At the moment on riverisland.com there are only sizes 8, 10, 12 left - but more stock may be landing online soon. That and there should be a broader selection in stores if there's a River Island nearby to where you're based. Suffice to say it's proving to be an incredible popular piece this summer - so if you like it, be quick!
