Did you know this?
We always pronounce it as “Ay-soss” but, as many of us know, that’s not technically how it should be said.
The name of the online clothing retailer where you lose hours of your life looking for the perfect shoes is actually an acronym.
A.S.O.S. stands for As Seen On Screen, which makes a lot of sense.
We’ve known this for a while now but it looks like not everyone was up to speed.
People on Twitter are freaking out slightly that they didn’t know what ASOS stood for.
OMG I can't believe I just learned that @ASOS means as seen on screen 😲 I'm shooketh 😮

Just this morning, ASOS’s official customer service account helpfully weighed in on the conversation.
Can confirm it’s As Seen On Screen!!
