Penneys has the same jacket as River Island (but for over half the price)

We fecking love a dupe.

Usually they're lookalikes of designer items - like this handbag or these boots - but every now and again we spy something on the high street and then see another high street store taking on the same trend but for way less.

Biker jackets have gone nowhere for the past few seasons and little wonder; a solid biker will be one of the hardest-working pieces in your wardrobe, no matter what time of year it is.

This autumn's take on the jacket is the suede biker and River Island is well on top of the trend with its own suede-look jacket in a number of colours.

The jacket retails at €80; not too bad for one you'll get plenty of use out of.

Penneys has gone one better though and has its own suede-look jacket in a wintry stone colour.

It's exclusive to stores in Ireland, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal and best of all, it's just €28 - a whole 65 per cent less than River Island's jacket.

That's €52 more you'll have to spend on a scarf, hat, bag and gloves to go along with your new jacket - all of which you could probably pick up in Penneys for that money, TBH.
