Yesterday the fourth annual Dublin Fashion Festival kicked off in style (pun intended!), and today the fun continues. With a wonderful selection of activities across a four day calendar, we’ve paired up with the team behind DFF to bring you a selection of our favourite events over each day of the festival.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 6TH
Style in Motion
Luas On-Tram Fashion Show
Enjoy a fashion showcase with a difference! Style tips in the heart of Dublin, live on board a Luas tram, with fabulous models showcasing fashion on the go. Talk abiout a twist on your typical runway! These shows will take place from 11am to 1pm at the St. Stephen’s Green Stop.
Ready, Set, Style!
Stylathon at the Ilac Centre
Do you fancy yourself as a stylist? Put your skills to the test by styling yourself or a friend in an A/W 2013 trend and come along to the Style Stand where stylist Maria Kelly will be judging entrants on their efforts! Great prizes include a behind the scenes’ experience with Maria Kelly, a place on LA College of Creative Arts Fashion Stylist course and a €1,000 Shopping Spree! This event takes place from 2-5 pm in the Ilac Centre.

Style on the Street
DFF Street Fashion Shows
Style takes to the streets this weekend with live, on-street catwalk shows, showing off the fashionable items available from our leading retailers with north and south-side locations. This fun event takes place from 11:45am & 12:45pm at the junction of Grafton Street and South King Street.
Designs on You!
Meet the Designers at Brown Thomas.
Head to one of Ireland’s favourite department stores to meet the style mavens and mavericks behind Irish Designers CREATE. The line-up for today includes Keira and Darine Kennedy (12pm -3pm), Emma Manley (3pm-7pm), Maria Dorai Raj (12pm- 5pm), Martha Lynn (12pm -3pm), Honor Fitzsimons (1pm-4pm) and Rebecca Marsden (12pm-2pm). The event takes place from 12pm-7pm in level one of Brown Thomas, Grafton Street and admission is free.
Marvelous Creations
Creative Quarter Fashion Show
One of the highlights of the DFF calendar, this fashion show in the heart of the Creative Quarter is not to be missed. Showcasing the amazing items the area has to offer, this unique show takes place on the steps of Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, with road-closure in place and a complete fashion frenzy set to take over the area. Prepare to fall in love with fashion all over again! This event takes place from 7pm – 9pm? on the steps of Powerscourt Townhouse Centre? and admission is free.
