I love autumn in the sense that I love the crunch of leaves on the ground, pumpkin spice lattes and bringing back my winter boots. What I don't love is the chnageable weather that makes dressing for the season an absolute nightmare. One day it's tights, a jumper and a wolly coat. The next it's a t-shirt, denim jacket and trainers like, what? But anyways, there's always one garmet I consider a "trusty piece" when it comes to autumn. That is the midi dress. Firstly, it can be layered with a heavy coat for warmth, a light jacket when it's a little sunnier. It can equally be styled with trainers or boots and, the dress itself is a cool layer meaning you'll never feel too hot and sticky (which is key when on the move or in work!) M&S is also making life a lot easier for us and our season dressing as they've just dropped multiple versions of the dress in discussion and we honestly want them all.

Aside from that, we just spotted this gorgeous jumper on the Zara website and can predict that everyone will be wearing to come October. The pale blue number comes with a round neck and long sleeves which has ruffle detailing down the side. We love how the Zara website styled the jumper, matching it with leather cropped cigarette pants and a pair of understated black heels. The look would be perfect for the office, especially when you want to look chic yet comfy. If you want to dress the jumper down, a pair of blue denim jeans and Converse would also be an ideal outfit choice. The jumper comes in at €29.95 and will definitely last you year after year.
