Missguided has just created the clothing item of your mam’s nightmares – and it’s selling out

We are grown-ass women with money of our own to buy and wear whatever the hell we like.

That, however, doesn't mean that we don't still wrap a big coat around ourselves when leaving the house in something revealing, for fear that our mams will see. We love nothing more than a hint of cleavage of a Saturday night out but somehow we're still not old enough to escape the side-eye and a sly comment from our mothers when we bare some flesh. If your mam is the sort who gets fretful over showing a bit of leg, just wait 'til she sees this. Missguided has just released a pleated skirt that we can only presume was created with the sole intention of giving mothers everywhere a collective stroke. The skirt is seven inches long and costs €14. Missguided describes it as 'super short' (no sh*t) and advises customers that the chain is not included. The item has caused something of a stir on Twitter recently.

Despite the hullabaloo, the skirt has actually been quite popular. At the the time of writing, it was already sold out in sizes S/M and M/L. We say that a gal can wear whatever she wants, but if you do purchase this for the love of God don't let you mam see it.
