We’re sure this is ‘making a statement’; we’re just not entirely sure what that statement is.

Check out the latest unisex creation from American Apparel: ‘The Ardorous X American Apparel Period Power Washed Tee’.

This screen-printed tee boasts “self-pleasing artwork” by Petra Collins, at least according to the company’s website.

Collins is a Toronto-born artist, aged 20, who previously worked in retail for the chain.

Her design for the company features a vagina, menstrual blood and pubic hair.

The good news is it’s unisex, so you and your partner can get matching ones if you really like her art. We can’t imagine it being a big fashion hit, but if you’re in, you can find out more here.
