WHY?

Missguided is a great shout when you're looking for trend-driven fashion at affordable prices but we have serious reservations about one style of shoe. The Black Feather Back Lace Up Barely There sandals are priced at €38 and the description sounds great until you have a look at the accompanying images. The barely-there style is extremely popular right now with practically every high-street retailer featuring these sandals in various colours and the lace-up look is also key this season. It's the feathers we have an issue with. Feathers that are so long they would get in the way anytime you try and walk, not to mention the fact that they look utterly bizarre. Here they are from the front. And the back. A side view too. They're currently available in all sizes and somehow we can't see them flying off the website (excuse the purely unintentional pun). What do you think, a statement shoe or a really bad idea? We love a good fashion fad but feel these heels are a step too far...
