It’s Official: Lana Del Rey is the New Face of H&M

After much speculation, it has finally been confirmed: Lana Del Rey will be the new face of H&M's next ad campaign.

There been a lot of speculation over the past few weeks about whether or not Lana Del Rey would be the poster child for H&M’s new ad campaign.

We’ve just officially gotten word (alright, we stalked H&M’s Twitter feed) and it’s true! Yes, the pouty-mouthed, bouffanted singer will be rocking all of H&M’s latest gear and no doubt inspiring us to buy, buy, buy as soon as their new season collection drops.

According to reports, Lana signed on as a model with Next Model Management back in January, and this will be her first big print campaign – because all those previous fashion-heavy spreads in all the glossies clearly didn’t count like.

Now that Lana is the face of H&M we wonder what kind of looks and trends she will inspire within the brand. We’re hoping for some awesome autumnal shades, sixties-inspired knitted cardigans paired with mini-skirts and some classic, ladylike pieces.

But Lana isn’t the only exciting development to happen in relation to H&M this autumn. Oh no. Next season will also see the brand collaborating with Maison Martin Margiela and director Anna Dello Russo.

We love a bit of Lana here at Her.ie Headquarters, so we’re excited to see what H&M has in store with the fabulous Ms Del Rey.
