Dublin has been ranked as the fifth best shopping destination in the world.
The Irish capital ranked highly in the list of 24, which consisted of 12 US cities and eight European destinations.
Barcelona topped the survey conducted by travel publication Conde Nast Traveller. The top five was finished off by Philadelphia, Hong Kong and Chicago.
London, Paris, Rome and New York also made it onto the list (which clearly indicates that we are in need of more than one trip).
