In Pictures: Spring/Summer 2014 at Warehouse

All the spring summer style from one of our favourite high street stores.

Rebecca McKnight

We’ve long been of the belief in Her.ie Towers that, as high street stores go, Warehouse doesn’t get nearly enough love.

Fashion-forward but easy on the pocket, we have a lot of love for this British gem, and even more now that we’ve enjoyed a sneak peek at their spring/summer wares.

Wallflowers need not apply when it comes to much of the new line, as you’ll be seeing plenty of colourful prints and interesting fabrics, designed for the girl who wants to be noticed. The collection has been divided into eight distinct categories though, so there’s every chance you’ll find at least one to suit.

BAMAKO – Contemporary tribal prints are key, and the co-ord set replaces the suit. This will undoubtedly find favour with the celebrity set.

BOTANIC ACID – Bringing back colour to our lives with high voltage fluorescent block colours and digital floral prints.

KASBAH – We have festival fever just looking at these. Described as ‘lounge lingerie developed for daywear’, expect silky playsuits and Moroccan inspired cover-ups. Swoon.

NIGHT CIRCUS  – There is an element of 80s throwback, but the cool kind, we swear! The key piece here is a black on nude polka dots dress that we fell in love with on sight.

POETIC GARDEN – Oh so lovely lace. Lace is always a winner for spring summer and the romantic pastel shades on pencil skirts are paired with boxy crops for a cooler edge.

PRECISION – Get set for scuba, because neoprene is not going anywhere. Not for dresses though, the movement is more towards great summer coats and one amazing black skirt that we must own.

ST ETIENNE – Casual denim and delicate dresses, toughened up with ankle boots and cropped jackets. Downtown chic.

SPOTLIGHT – The maxi dresses were the clear winners here, and some of our favourites from the collection overall. Pastels sit alongside fluorescents for a twist on simple summer style.

Her Thoughts: A triumphant collection that offers a wealth of choice to customers, with a great balance of on-trend and timeless. Great fabrics and fair prices make Warehouse a worthy high-street style winner, so we’ll be stocking up there this summer.
