That said, famous faces are responsible for starting a lot of trends and we are always intrigued to see what looks they will try next.
Here are the looks we are crushing on this week and while we don’t have the same budgets as celebrities, we can still get ideas for outfit inspiration from them.
Miranda Kerr
Miranda Kerr attended a Swarovski party during the week wearing a lace midi skirt and matching top. With her hair in a curled ponytail, glamorous make-up and delicate accessories, the Australian model looked absolutely beautiful.
Blake Lively
Blake Lively has been winning in the fashion stakes of late, her Gucci gown made headlines at the Met Gala a couple of weeks ago and for the first day of the Cannes film festival, Gucci was again her designer of choice. We loved her thigh slit burgundy gown but her shimmering Chanel couture number featuring intricate beading and embellishment for the second day of the festival was truly breath-taking.
Millie Mackintosh
Former Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh dazzled in this Julien MacDonald metallic gown at the Arqiva British Academy Television Awards or BAFTA Awards as they are widely known, last night. Julien has a reputation for designing beautiful red-carpet worthy dresses and this shimmering gold beauty did not disappoint.
Naomi Campbell
Naomi Campbell also attended the BAFTA awards last night wearing a floor-length grey gown featuring thick straps and dramatic cut-out panels. While it’s not a dress that would work for everyone, it looks amazing on Naomi. The revealing top-half is balanced by the billowing long skirt and it’s easy to see why Ms Campbell is an international supermodel.
