Gold In The Streets! How Much Would You Pay for These Trainers?

If you have money to burn and an adventurous other half, this might be a gift idea this Christmas.

We know sportswear can be pricey, but this is a whole other level of sports luxe bling.

Get ready to blind oncoming traffic with the new Buscemi metallic leather trainers.

The shoes, which makers say have been “lovingly handcrafted in the luxury footwear capital of the world, Civitanova, Italy”, feature 18kt gold-plated hardware and hand painted edges.

Made using traditional techniques and fine Italian leather, the soles of the shoes also boast a “heat treated tonal matching paint” to reduce appearances of wear. There  is also a “3 piece mechanical closure and lock”, in case you weren’t present for the tying your shoes life lesson, aged five.

The men’s trainers are available now from Harvey Nichols for the princely sum of €1,125, in case you’re stuff for a very extravagant and “unique” gift for the man in your life this Christmas.
