The designer, who was found guilty of making anti-semitic remarks in Paris last year, has allegedly filed a multi-million euro lawsuit against his former employer Christian Dior.

Disgraced designer John Galliano has filed a lawsuit against Christian Dior according to reports this morning.

When news spread of his outburst last year, it seemed that Galliano had no chance of defending his actions or keeping his job.

This was proven correct when he was found guilty of making anti-Semitic remarks and was fired from the world-renowned company.

But now it seems the man is trying to appeal his dismissal with a claim worth over €15 million, that is, if the Daily Telegraph is to be believed.

They have said that Galliano has lodged an ‘employee/employer dispute claim’ and that there is a hearing scheduled for February of next year.

Galliano snapped here with Marion Cotillard before the whole incident.

The last year has certainly been turbulent for the 51 year old who, after he was accused of making racist comments during an altercation with a woman in Paris and was fired from his job, was checked into rehab.

To add insult to injury, he was recently stripped of his Legion of Honour Award by French President François Hollande. This award is given to those who have contributed significantly to the country. Marc Jacobs and Yves Saint Lauren have both received it.

As yet there are no further details concerning the lawsuit nor has Galliano commented on the claims.

Do you reckon he has any hope of success?
