It’s been a big year for Dublin GAA stars Paul Flynn and Fiona Hudson, but Saturday will surely be a day that stands out for the couple.
The pair married in Virginia, County Cavan and it’s fair to say Fiona made a gorgeous bride.
She wore a fitted ivory lace gown with a sweetheart neckline and kept it otherwise casual, opting for an embellished headpiece over a traditional bridal veil.

Her bridesmaids, meanwhile, were pretty in pink and donned elegant fur wraps to keep the cold out.

Fiona plays football for Dublin, as does her new husband Paul. They each picked up All-Ireland medals with their teams in September and were joined by a number of teammates on their big day.
“The bond you build with sport is very special and I have been at a number of their weddings,” Paul told RSVP recently.
“When you are getting married you want the people who have shared life experiences with you to be there.
“There is nothing that brings you closer than winning an All-Ireland or losing a big game.”
