First Look: A|Wear Autumn/Winter Collection 2013

It's one of our favourite shops on the high street. Irish chain A|Wear never let us down when it comes to kitting us out for a new season, and their autumn/winter collection for this year is one of our favourite drops from the brand yet. 

In a divine woodlands inspired shoot, shot against the Irish landscape with Cork born model Georgina Bevan, A|Wear have us dreaming of cool, crisp autumn days with crunchy leaves underfoot. Taking inspiration from the catwalks, A|Wear’s buyers manage to straddle the line between designer influenced trends and wearable fashions perfectly.

With achingly cool cover-ups, amazing accessories and perfect prints, we’re pretty much in fashion lust with the whole collection. Tapestry prints, tartan checks and aztec patterns all make an appearance. 

Speaking on the launch of the new season, A|wear Head Designer, Vanessa Macey said “autumn is always the season we love most here at A|wear, with such unpredictable weather, our customer has always been a fan of wrapping up with heavy knits & scarves through to the very important AW coat purchase! This season, we’ve gone back to our roots by focusing on a wildlife nature themed collection with faux fur across coat collars, heavy leopard print on coats, animal intarsia on key knitwear pieces and heavy blanket style winter woollies, hats & gloves. Continuing to offer great value is also as important as ever to us at A|wear & we’ve made sure this collection combines autumn wardrobe staples & your key fashion essentials that won’t break the bank with jersey tops from €15 & dresses & knitwear starting at €30.”
