Fashion High Five: The Shooting Star Collection from Juvi

Feast your eyes on the prettiest pieces you'll see all week, the new Shooting Star collection from award-winning Irish jewellery company Juvi Designs.

We're loving these delicate stars, which come in sparkling gold, rose gold and shining silver and are paired with beautiful precious gems.

Husband and wife duo Julie Danz and Vincent Tynan began casting tiny stars in sterling silver, and plating with layers of 24 carat gold and rose gold, following a trip to a famous stargazing spot in Ballinskelligs, County Kerry earlier this year.

Julie explains: “The reserve is nestled beneath the mountains and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. If you’ve ever visited Kerry you will know of its outstanding natural beauty. Out walking one moonless night, I was overwhelmed looking up; I can only describe it as magical beauty. There were more stars than I had ever seen, along with gorgeous star clusters and the beautiful band of the Milky Way.”

Juvi’s carefully crafted Shooting Star collection is made by Julie and Vincent at their studio in Dublin, and each piece is designed to be worn and loved forever. “Stars can mean a lot to people, symbolising anything from a new beginning to a turning point in a person’s life. They remind us of distant lovers, adventures, friends, family, past dreams and future hopes. I think stars are simply magical, and that’s what this collection represents,” says Julie.
