While you may not want to retire your flip-flops for another year just yet, now is a good time to steal a march on trends for the coming season.

For the past two years brogues have been quietly stealing a mark on other flat footwear options and it looks as though this coming Autumn/Winter they will really come in to their own.

Already the preserve of the fash pack, the high street are currently ushering in A/W collections with a variety of styles and heel heights to choose from.

The style itself is obviously borrowed from the wardrobes of menfolk, so pair with feminine cuts and floral fabrics for an interesting twist.
