On this week’s episode of the Her Podcast, we’re catching up with fashion blogger and Dublin presenter, Katja Mia. Having ditched a career in finance, Katja is relatively new to the blogging game but is already making massive moves in the world of fashion. We caught up with her to talk about diversity in Ireland, her dreams of being on stage with Queen Bey, and being an old romantic at heart!

Katja is no stranger to presenting, and last year in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement, she presented ‘Spotlight: Éire to the World,’ a film celebrating and platforming Black Irish creatives and artists in a way that hasn’t been seen before. The film was commissioned by Project Arts Council and supported by Dublin City Council, it showcased live performance, spoken word, dance, podcasts and fashion.

The film aimed to highlight the communities’ talents, music, business and personalities in the hopes of creating change:
