The fab denim dress Meghan Markle just wore is available to pre-order now

It is a classic wardrobe staple.

We haven't seen much of her since little baby Archie was born in May, but last Saturday, The Duchess of Sussex surprised everyone by making an impromptu appearance in New York City to see her friend, Serena Williams, play in the U.S. Open finals. Arriving at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, the new mum looked stunning, as usual, dressed in a casual outfit of a belted denim dress with a gre cardigan draped loosely over her shoulders. Fashion-savvy fans were quick to identify Meghan's dress as this classic little number from J.Crew:

Retailing for just €141, we have to admit we were more than a little keen to add the very wearable and chic cress to our own carts immediately.

Unsurprisingly, however, the 'Markle Effect' made sure the dress sold out online almost straight away, but luckily, you can now pre-order it in all sizes on the J.Crew website. The preppy American brand has long been one of the 38-year-old's go-to choices for casual outings, and it is easy to see why. Alternatively, if you don't want to wait for the J.Crew dress to come back into stock – or found the €141 price tag a little hefty, this near identical Vero Moda version is currently available on Asos for just €58:
