With the Academy Awards coming up those clever clogs at The Outnet flew to LA (nice work if you can get it!) to get the inside scoop from the style set.
There are a couple of videos in the series but first up is a chat with sought-after celebrity stylist Anita Patrickson who shares her professional secrets on how she helps her clients get red-carpet ready.
South African Anita is an established fashion force in the Hollywood Hills. She has worked for publishing powerhouse Condé Nast in the past and styled celebrity covers for Allure magazine working with big name stars like Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Katherie Heigl.
Since going freelance Anita has racked up the celebrity clients and dresses young starlets such as Emma Watson, Julianne Hough and Taylor Kitsch plus she regularly styles covers and editorials for glossy magazines Elle, Instyle, Lucky and Vanity Fair.
Clearly comfortable in front of the camera – she’s appeared on America’s Next Top Model – here Anita chats about putting a screen worthy look together.
