Erika Fox’s €43 shoes are ideal for gals who can’t cope with wearing heels this summer

We're low-key obsessed with beautiful shoes, which is why we get so sad when they're impossible to wear.

What girl hasn't lusted after a particular pair of stilettos, bought them and taken them home only to find that they were designed by Lucifer himself to torture her feet? Without handy ankle boots to fall back on, it can be tricky in the summer to find a decent going-out shoe with a heel that's actually wearable but we reckon River Island has nailed it this year. These cute and comfy block heel sandals are just what we need for when we can't face a night in actual high heels. They come in two colours - black and orange -  and are €43, which we think will mean a serious cost-per-wear. They're also the sort of shoe that can be worn dressed down or dressed up, as Erika Fox of Retro Flame showed us this week. She teamed her pair of sandals with a dress by LK Bennett, showing how easily she mixes and matches high end and affordable pieces. It's no secret that Erika is a big fan of the brand.
