We’ve picked out our favourite looks from the Emmys red carpet

It was a night full of sequins, colour and cut-outs.

The Emmys Awards show took place in LA last night and it’s safe to say all of Hollywood attended. The style on the red carpet definitely took on another level and there were many stand out trends worn by celebrities.

Most actresses stepped away from the usual long, unexciting gown and instead went all out with their choices.

From red and pink dresses to puff sleeves and intricate designs, we picked out our favourite looks that graced the Emmys carpet.

Mandy Moore

Mandy Moore looked stunning in her Brandon Maxwell number. She effortlessly pulled off the 80s vibe and wore the biggest trend of the night without fail. Everything from her heels to her hair is fabulous.

Greta Lee

Greta completely spiced things up in the colour department. Going for a lime green hue, she made this Christopher John Rogers number work very well. Not many would be able to pull off a puffy crop top, but Greta did it with elegance – so major brownie points to her.

Dascha Polanco

Dascha wore a Christian Siriano dress last night and we absolutely adored it. The sweetheart neckline was amped up with bubblegum pink puffy sleeves; and they certainly made a statement. The Orange Is The New Black actress wore her hair in a high ponytail, which finished off the sleek look perfectly.

Chrissy Metz

One of the many trends seen on the red carpet last night was sequins – and Chrissy Metz pulled them off effortlessly. The This Is Us actress wore a custom Christian Siriano (he was BIG on the red carpet last night) and we adore the gun metal colour. She teamed the dress with a smokey eye and we really can’t get enough.

Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams was a vision in Louis Vuitton. While there was a simple cut on the dress, it was made up by the intricate design and suited Michelle’s frame perfectly. She wore her hair in a blunt bob, slightly waved and if we were to do our Debs all over again, we’d definitely go for something like this.
