Returning to the office this autumn?
Well, then you might want to snap up one of these!
When it comes to Ikea, most of us will think of meatballs or stylish Scandi flatback furniture. Which, of course, are both correct.
However, did you know that the Swedish homeware giant has also created the most sought-after IT bag of the moment?
The Drömsack – a tote that can be turned into a backpack – has sold out online across several countries, and is selling out in stores too.
After TikTok user Nicole Kaye shared a couple of videos of the clever bag and how easily it can be transformed from a tote into a backpack, other social media users went crazy for it, and as a result, the Drömsack is pretty much gold dust at this stage.

And even though the initial video is only 15 seconds long, that was all it took for people to get excited. The comment sections of both videos contain variations of users expressing their excitement, writing things like “Okay, okay. I’m not running, I’M SPRINTING!!” and “This isn’t a want, it’s a NEED.”
Now, let us just say – we totally get the hype.
The bag is perfect for our unpredictable weather, super stylish, water-resistant and features an easy-to-wipe-clean polyester lining inside.
And the best bit? When you want to turn it from a tote to a backpack, simply pull the long straps down through the metal clips on the back and adjust the length to suit.
Other key features are individual phone and laptop compartments, the latter of which can fit devices up to 14 inches.

Fans also love the easily accessible slot for a bank- or commuter card, loop for your keys so you don’t have to fish around the bottom of your bag anymore and the hidden inner zippered pocket to keep your phone safe and handy to locate.
The bag is part of the Drömsäck series, which is “designed for people with hectic lives,” according to Ikea. They are also touted as a sustainable choice since the water-repellent fabric is made from 90% recycled polyester.
On Twitter, one excited shopper wrote about the bag:
“Okay but the IKEA Tote Bag isn’t a want but a need,” while another said:
“All of my problems would be solved if I had the IKEA tote bag.”
Another fan revealed:
“Obviously I want the IKEA tote bag and I won’t rest until it’s mine.”
While another shopper teased:
“I didn’t want an IKEA Tote Bag but now that I know no one can get it anywhere, it’s all I can think about and I will not rest until I have one!”
