Two trends that absolutely dominated the designer and high street shops this year were button-up midi dresses and leopard print.
They were everywhere throughout every the seasons and because they were so interchangeable, we totally bowed down to them.
A recent survey was conducted by John Lewis to find out which item of clothing was the most sought-after this year... and we finally have the answer.
The most sold item of the year was this Somerset dress by Alice Temperley.
The €116 dress has everything you could want in a gúna. It's the perfect length (even for petite gals like moi), and has a muted leopard print - so even those that might be a bit hesitant with the trend will be comfortable wearing it.
It also comes in a long sleeved version, so if you don't want to wear short sleeves for the winter months, it's the perfect option.
