Disney Princesses Get Designer Shoes And We Can’t Even Talk

This article took a VERY long time to complete, namely because the subject made me so excited, I couldn't type properly. Going on previous pieces featured on Her.ie, I know I’m not alone in my obsession with Disney princesses (remember the Disney Princess inspired lipsticks?!) Add designer shoes into the mix and the excitement is uncontrollable. We have Normand Lemay and Griselda Sastrawinata Lemay to thank for creating designer shoes to suit some of Disney's most-loved characters.

The husband and wife duo happen to work as animation artists for Walt Disney...dream job right there. "The inspiration for this series of Disney character-inspired shoes came from daydreaming about Disney princesses wearing my favorite designer Disney.shoes” Griselda said in a piece featured on the Disney website. "When done right, [shoe design] exudes personality and character. In my mind, a great pair of shoe is the exclamation point to an outfit". Literally all of the bigwigs in shoe world feature: Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Charlotte Olympia, Sophia Webster, Chloé and Manolo Blahnik. When it comes to picking a favourite, I’m torn between Elsa’s Louboutins and the Chloé beauties sported by Pocahontas.
