The retailer has a flare for eye-catching buys and just doesn't do subtlety, which is why we adore one new slip dress that's just popped up on its website. After dominating our winter wardrobes, animal print is a trend that's going nowhere for summer. This piece (€55) plays with the pattern in a novel way by setting it against a deep green shade. It shouldn't really work but we are obsessed. It's also a nice balance of simple and dramatic, with a cami shape on top flowing into an asymmetrical frilled hem The midi length is super flattering and would make this ideal for a wedding, day at the races or big family event this summer. Happily, you can get wear out this day-to-day to - just layer it over a white tee and pop on some runners. It also comes in a striking lime green shade that would look incredible with a tan. Can we also take a moment for those zebra-print heels? They're €55 and come in a land of different colours. The dress is only available on the River Island website so we'll just have to put in a online order this week. Also going in that order will be this adorable square-neck top (€40). The black gives the floral pattern an edge and we love the tie-waist detail. If that weren't enough, the back is super cute.
