Ever feel like you’re being followed?
We do.
Not by a person or animal but by a dress – that Zara dress.

This floaty polka dot number has been inescapable this summer.
It first landed in stores this spring and I noticed it begin to take off while on a trip to London during a spell of sunny weather back in April.
“This smock-style maxi dress from Zara seemed to be everywhere,” I wrote in a piece at the time.
“I saw at least eight people wearing it on the tube, in pubs, on the street and in the park as London baked.”
It’s become a veritable cultural phenomenon in the months since then, inspiring think-pieces and even its own dedicated Instagram account, @hot4thespot.

To be fair, there’s a lot to love.
The dress is deliciously flowy and comfortable but still fashion-forward – you couldn’t go wrong.
We do love it but given just how popular it is, we don’t fancy buying it at this stage.
We reckon we’ll go for this similar one from ASOS instead.
It ticks a couple of boxes for us – it’s tiered, has sleeves and will cover all manner of food babies.
It’s €76.04 and will be right at the top of our next ASOS order.
