#OnTrend: A breakdown of Nasty Gal’s new 70s chic collaboration

Olivia Hayes

If you’re into 70s style then this collection is definitely for you.

With flared trousers, animal prints and cowboy-esque detailing, the new collection, which is in collaboration with English model Emma Louise Connolly, has hit every style point on the head.

As well as the 70s inspired looks, there are also pretty prints and very girly dresses and tops – perfect if you want to mix and match.

What I love about this collection is that you can dress the pieces up and down – pop on a pair of heels and you’ll be good for a girls night out, or wear into work with sandals so you’ll be kept cool in the office.

Speaking of the collection, the popular online clothing store says: “Nasty Gal was inspired by Emma Lou’s worldly adventures, with the range featuring cute ruffle tops, lace up shorts and pretty dresses alongside key summer staples such as slogan tees and white denim which complement the collection.

“Emma Lou’s eclectic personal style embodies the confident and carefree attitude of the collection.”

The collection is definitely confident and carefree, and with prices ranging from €17-€57, it won’t break the bank either.

You can check out the collection here, which will be arriving online July 10.
