Block Colour And Stylish Prints – What To Wear To The Races

Check out our races style edit.

Cathy Donohue

Race season is well and truly upon us and if you’re in need of a little style inspiration then we are here to help.

We have scoured the shops and have put together an edit of the pieces you need to have in your wardrobe for this summer’s racing season.

Bright neons, pretty pastels, statement jewellery, compact clutches and sunglasses are included in our style spot.

This article was brought to you with thanks to Colgate Max White One Optic.

Dresses will always feature heavily at the races and we’ve included a few of our favourites which cater for various budgets, in the gallery below.

Pink is a popular colour for this fashion season and the tweed Chanel inspired dress from Warehouse is a necessary addition to our wardrobes.

We also love the M&S printed dress in the main image above and it’s a style steal at €60.

Channel Kate Middleton in the very same Diane Von Furstenberg dress she wore during the royal tour of Australia and New Zealand but be warned, princess style isn’t cheap.

If dresses aren’t your style then pencil skirts and jumpsuits are everywhere this season: check out the Burberry inspired Dorothy Perkins pencil skirt from Dorothy Perkins and the floral print jumpsuit from River Island.

You might start out in heels at the beginning of a day at the races but bringing along a pair of flats is always a good idea, in fact that’s probably our most important advice.

Accessories are the best way to update your look instantly and we have included a number of options, from the cheap as chips statement necklace from Penneys to the achingly cool Parfois aviators.

Colgate Max White One Optic toothpaste is the simple answer to an instantly visible whiter smile*. Now available in most major supermarkets & chemists
