In case you hadn’t realised it, we love Amal Clooney.
As well as being smart, talented and beautiful, the renowned human rights lawyer isn’t afraid to speak her mind.
Appearing in the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg today, Amal was arguing an appeal before the court on behalf of Armenia in their case against Doğu Perinçek, the leader of the Turkish Workers’ Party who was convicted of denying the 1915 Armenian genocide in 2007.
Clooney is arguing on an appeal before the ECHR, which ruled in favour of Dogu Perincek in December 2013, after he claimed his right to free speech was violated when Swiss courts convicted him of denying the genocide.
Amal was approached by media outside the court today, where numerous people had previously been reporting on a red coat she wore the previous day.
The Telegraph’s Brussels correspondent questioned Amal on her wardrobe attire today.
Pointing to her black robes, Amal replied, “I’m wearing Ede & Ravenscroft”.
I ask Amal Clooney about the fashion speculation. She laughed & pointed to her robes, “I’m wearing Ede & Ravenscroft” pic.twitter.com/cEsuy87Vda
