The best thing about working from home?
If you ask me, it’s the casual, but cosy dress code!
When it comes to working from home, which I have been doing on and off for years as a freelance journalist, I have a strict rule about pyjamas – they are for bed and bed only. Which means, as soon as I get out of the shower in the morning, I get dressed.
The beauty of now only having to worry about my commute from the bedroom to the dining table is that my OOTD can be super-casual, and also totally comfort wear. But – as I mentioned – not pj’s. I think, and this is just my humble opinion, that working in your sleep-wear is not only not great for productivity and morale, but it also blurs the lines between office hours and home time, and I think it is important to have that boundary in place.
So what do I wear to ‘work’ these days? Co-ords! These cosy, chic and yet totally comfy co-ords from Nastygal have become my WFH lifesavers, and honestly, I dread the day I have to ever put on a pair of heels or tight-fitted jeans ever again!
