Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa has been named one of TripAdvisor’s top hotels in 2025

The Ceremony

If you plan to have your wedding on-site, the Ballygarry offers the ceremony at The Lodge. 

According to the hotel team, The Lodge is a new “rustic inspired ceremony venue” modelled on a “New England Barn.”

During the ceremony, folks can look through the “large feature window”, which provides views of the whole Estate, of Ballyseedy Woods and the Slieve Mish Mountains:

The Reception

For your exclusive drinks reception, Ballygarry would have you set up in The Pavilion. 

The Pavilion has beautiful interiors, an indoor and outdoor private bar, a sunset terrace, and a private garden with stunning views of the Kerry Mountains. 

Planning a Winter wedding, the Pavilion has open fires and plush décor for a cosy atmosphere. 

And as the weather gets warmer, guests can enjoy the reception in the private gardens. 

The dinner

One of the best parts of weddings is the delicious food, and Ballygarry’s head chef John O’Sullivan and his team will “create a mouthwatering meal for you and your guests.”

The hotel’s food is cooked “fresh-to-order on the day”, using locally sourced ingredients. 

The wedding banquet is hosted in the banqueting suite, with its own Lounge Bar, sure to keep everyone ready to stay on their feet for the rest of the night.

Ballygarry also offers table décor, including candelabras, fresh floral table centre-pieces, chivari chairs, cherry blossom trees, fairy light backdrop, and personalised menus.

The Party

As the night goes on, the wedding will finish in style with an after-wedding party in The Pavilion. 

There, the team of chefs will have a custom-built BBQ to grill fresh food for your guests so they're well fed. 

The Pavilion has its own Sunset Terrace and a serviced bar, making it a fabulous location until your feet are too sore to walk from dancing all night long.
