Yesterday two women from Ireland made the journey to England in order to secure an abortion.
The whole country was able to get an insight into their experience through a Twitter account, @TwoWomenTravel, which documented their travel. All the tweets were directed at Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
They caught the attention of media outlets around the world and received messages of support from loads of people, including James Corden.
Today, @TwoWomenTravel but you’re not on your own in this. So many people are with you. X

They showed the whole journey from the early 5am start, the flight over and the waiting room at the clinic. At the end of the evening yesterday we saw that the two women had returned from the clinic and were settling into a night’s sleep.
Finally time for a power nap. @EndaKennyTD all done and dusted, we won’t get home for another 24hrs #twowomentravel pic.twitter.com/2M8VOfz8Vm
