Repeal

11th Aug 2016

Someone is vandalising Dublin Bus ads to make a powerful point

Cassie Delaney

Over the past number of weeks, the demand for the repeal of the 8th amendment has been at the forefront of activism.

With the introduction and then the removal of Maser’s Repeal mural in Temple Bar, art has played a pivotal role in the pro-choice campaign.

Now vandals have altered advertising to make a point, proving that no opportunity should be wasted to construct debate.

This image was shared first on Facebook by Ruairi Douglas and has received traction since Darragh Doyle shared it on Twitter.

Elsewhere, supporters of the pro-choice campaign held a wheat pasting workshop which explains the rise in graphic political imagery appearing throughout the city.
