A woman is in a critical condition after being hit by a van in Dublin, according to reports.
The incident occurred in Ringsend on Wednesday morning (March 20th) shortly before 8:00 am at the junction of Cambridge Road and Thorncastle Street.
The woman in her 50s, was transferred to St Vincent’s University Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
No other injuries were reported. A technical examination of the scene has since been conducted by Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardaí in Irishtown are appealing for any witnesses of this collision to contact them with any information they may have.
They are also appealing to anyone with video footage including dash-cam from the area between 7:45am and 8:15am on March 20th to come forward.
