The incident occurred earlier this afternoon.
It is being reported that a woman has died after being hit by a DART train.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Raheny station, between 2.30 and 3pm this afternoon.
The Garda Press Office told Her that they are currently treating the incident as a tragic accident, and no foul play is suspected.
Irish Rail have tweeted to inform customers that there will be major delays on several routes.
Dublin Bus is accepting valid train tickets for now.
