Gardaí made the harrowing discovery on Wednesday evening.
A Garda investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman’s body in Co. Louth.
The woman, whose age has not yet been disclosed, was found at a property in Bridge Street, Dundalk.
The woman’s body was found in “unexplained circumstances”, Gardaí shared.
An investigation was launched following the harrowing discovery this week.
According to reports, the discovery was made yesterday evening, May 24th.
An investigation is currently underway and the Garda Technical Bureau is currently analysing the scene in Louth.
Gardaí confirmed that a post-mortem is due to take place following the discovery. The results of the post-mortem will determine the course of their investigation, a Garda spokesperson told The Journal.
