A woman is being questioned after the body of a man was discovered in a house in Foxrock.
The woman, in her 40s, is being held by Gardaí in connection with the death of the man in 20s.
His body was found in the Tudor Lawns, Foxrock house in Dublin at around 11.30pm last night.
RTE reports that the man had suffered multiple stab wounds.
The Office of the State Pathologist has been notified of the death and forensic officers are currently carrying out a technical examination at the scene.
Assistant Garda Commissioner Pat Leahy was also present at the Foxrock site this morning.
Gardaí are appealing for anybody who has information or who may have seen anything unusual near the scene last night to contact Cabinteely Garda Station on 01 6665400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or contact any Garda station.
The man's body remains at the scene.
