Woman Arrested After Aer Lingus Flight Has Been Released

A woman who was arrested earlier this week following an incident on board an Aer Lingus flight from Lisbon to Dublin has been released from Garda custody.

A Garda spokesperson has confirmed that the woman was released from Togher Garda Station on Tuesday night.

According to RTÉ, she had reportedly been arrested under drug trafficking legislation but has now been released without charge.

A 24-year-old man died on board the flight, which diverted to Cork after the pilot declared a medical emergency.
