Karolina Kovacova, with an address at O'Callaghan's Lane in Carrick-on-Suir, appeared in front of a special sitting of the Clonmel District Court today, where she was charged with the murder of 47-year-old Pavel Javorski.
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to an incident at a domestic residence in the town at approximately 11 pm on Saturday, October 4.
The body of Javorski, who was from the Czech Republic, was found unresponsive at the residence.
He was later pronounced deceased.
It is believed he lived in Carrick-on-Suir for several years.
Kovacova was arrested and detained at a Garda station in Tipperary under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
She was remanded in custody following this afternoon's hearing.
