Can you believe the day has come?
Well, it’s Christmas Eve lads, and Santa is putting the finishing touches to things as we speak.
And we all have the same question… any chance of a bit of snow?
Sadly ladies and gents, we will not be getting a white Christmas this year.
However, we will get a dry one, and sure that’s great news.
We’re set for a mild and dry Christmas nationwide, with temperatures between 6 and 9C.
However, it will be colder in the north, dropping to 4 or 5C in parts.
Dear Santa! Here is your weather forecast for Ireland! Wishing you safe travels across the country, from everyone in Met Éireann ?? https://t.co/FpFjjuMR51 #Santa pic.twitter.com/BRDCkn5JiA

Met Eireann said:
“Christmas Day will be dry in most areas, but cloudy, with a little patchy drizzle possible, especially along southern coasts.”
“Mist and fog patches also, with some fog in inland areas during the morning, becoming confined mainly to southern coasts during the day.”
“Mild, with maximum temperatures of 10 to 12 Celsius, in moderate south to southeast winds, fresh in Atlantic coastal areas.”
Not too shabby if anyone fancies a nice Christmas Day stroll!
