WATCH: A passenger was forcibly removed from an overbooked plane

Video of police appearing to drag a man from his seat on an airplane has surfaced online.

Passengers filmed the incident, watching the two police officers forcibly remove the man from the plane, dragging him kicking and screaming down the aisle. In a statement to WHAS11, United said:

“Flight 3411 from Chicago to Louisville was overbooked. After our team looked for volunteers, one customer refused to leave the aircraft voluntarily and law enforcement was asked to come to the gate. "We apologize for the overbook situation.”
