A man who caught a one-year-old baby after it fell from a second story window is being hailed as a hero in China.
According to Euronews, the incident occurred in south China on Sunday, when the baby climbed onto the window during a heavy thunderstorm.
It’s understood that the baby was looking for his mother and climbed out of a building in Xiaolan Town in the Zhongshan City of Guangdong Province.
Mr Li, a resident, hurried across the road and held out his arms, according to the surveillance video footage, in the hope of catching the falling baby.
Mr Hu, also a local resident, rushed to the site to join in the rescue, along with other nearby residents who put several pieces of cardboard and a sofa on the ground under the window.
