Two men have been arrested after Gardaí found ammunition in a vehicle this evening.
The arrests were made in two separate locations: the first on the Naas Dual Carriageway and the second on the Long Mile Road.
According to The Irish Mirror, during a search of the first car, a firearm and ammunition were found. The men are currently being questioned by Gardaí.
It is believed that the arrests were both made by the Emergency Response Unit, as part of an operation directed by the e Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
Both men are thought to be associates of David Byrne, the man who was killed in the Regency Hotel shooting back in February.
