They were injured in a road accident in Waterford this morning
Two boys have been rushed to hospital following a road traffic collision in Co. Waterford.
The accident happened in Waterford City earlier this morning, according to reports.
The collision involved a car and two pedestrians, Gardaí confirmed.
The accident occurred at around 8.45 am this morning in St. John’s Park, Co. Waterford.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed that two male children were taken to University Hospital Waterford to be treated for their injuries.
They have not confirmed how severe their injuries are at this time.
An investigation has been launched following the accident.
Gardaí remain at the scene of the collision at St John’s Park, Co. Waterford.
The road of the collision, off the R708, remains closed at this time. Forensic Collision Investigators are also currently at the scene in Co. Waterford.
