Tulisa Talks Fame And Where She Would Be Without It

The 'X-Factor' judge talks about how her life would have turned out if she didn't have success...

Tulisa Contostlavos said if it wasn’t for fame and a job on ‘X-Factor’ she would be a young mum by now, and not happy at all.

The ‘X-Factor’ judge, 24, spoke up when she was asked where would she be without her N-Dubz music and ‘X-Factor’ presenting success.

She said;

“I would be living with a drug dealer in a council flat. I can imagine just having a baby because there is nothing else to do.

“All my friends started getting pregnant, I never wanted that.”

The ‘X-Factor’ judge will return to our screens for her second series on the show this month.

Tulisa told Times magazine she never waited for her break but made her own success. The singer persuaded Simon Cowell to allow her to join the judging crew last year after Cheryl Cole left.

“I practically said to him, if you don’t hire me you’re making a big mistake.I never believed failure was an option when it came to music. Music was all I ad and all I could do. If I didn’t make it in the music business I knew I was finished. If I wanted to be happy I had to go out there and be happy.

“If I wanted to succeed, I had to stop moping about and go to the studio and work my a**e off until I did succeed.”

Tulisa was interviewed as she won a moral victory over her ex-boyfriend in the courts.

The singer took on Justin Edwards, 28, after he released a sex tape of Tulisa online. He was forced to publicly apologise.

“He lied barefaced to the whole nation. It was a case of standing my ground. I don’t think I was even giving him a proper blowjob. We were just in my dressing room having a laugh. After the months that I’ve had it’s my time to be like ‘I won’.”
